In summary
The essentials
Lawful pseudonymity permits public presence without permanent exposure of Root Identity. It does not provide absolute anonymity in the face of legally valid proceedings, and its protection may be set aside only on the applicable grounds and through the applicable procedures.
How it works
Protection with accountability
Public nameIt may be the everyday way in which the person presents themselves.
→
PrivacyRoot Identity remains reserved rather than displayed by default.
→
AccountabilityIf there is a valid legal basis, the linkage may be accessed through the appropriate procedure.
For the person
Practical consequence
A public account or persona in Sistema Candeia does not need to publish the person’s full civil identity. The system must separate public presentation from the reserved linkage and record any coercive disclosure when it is legally permitted.
Limits
Safeguards and conditions
Political criticism is not sufficient grounds to reveal identity.
Lawful pseudonymity is not fraud in itself.
