Electoral calendar, ballot and rules
Before an internal Candeia election, the process must publish the offices or questions, calendar, eligible electorate, validity rules, ballot version and relevant technical components. Emergency changes may not silently alter the rules after the contest has begun.

In brief
Before asking anyone to vote, Candeia must make clear exactly “on what”, “when”, “under which rules” and “using which system version”.
How the Constitution structures this subject
Date known before the contest
Candeia elections must take place according to a previously defined calendar.
Legally authorised content
A technical update may not alter candidates, the question, vote validity or the counting formula.
Verifiable integrity
Code, configuration and critical parameters must be identified and tied to the audited version.
Protection against ad hoc rule changes
Fundamental elements must not change for a Candeia election within 12 months of it, except under strict constitutional exceptions.
How it works
Publish the act, calendar and legal basis.
Identify eligibility, ballot, formula and technical versions.
Assess implementation and contingency arrangements.
Record any emergency correction with its reason and a new verification.
Limits and safeguards
- This page does not present a fictitious electoral calendar.
- A technical correction does not authorise changing a legal rule without an act of the competent authority.
- An emergency change must be temporary, public and subject to judicial review.
