Public history

Public history is the verifiable timeline of a record: creation, publication, corrections, replacements, archiving and preservation. It must not be confused with the project’s cultural history or filled with state acts that never occurred.

Documentary history prepared · state facts only when they existConstitutional proposal: proposed text · not promulgated

Institutional history and record history are not the same thing

Project history

Events that actually occurred

Development of the project, Sistema Candeia, the constitutional proposal and the evolution of GOV are documented in History.

Record history

Chain of a public object

When real laws, acts, statistics or documents exist, each object will have its own verifiable chronology.

Principle

Preserve the past without keeping it in force forever

A repealed norm, replaced act or exhausted transitional provision may remain archived for authenticity, interpretation, audit and accountability without continuing to create new powers or future effects.

object timeline

History is a sequence of real acts, not editorial filling

Corrections and replacementsEach change must preserve authorship, legal basis and relationship with the previous version.
ArchivingClosed or replaced objects may remain accessible as history without appearing to remain in force.
Presentation in GOVThe interface organises the timeline, but does not create state events merely to make it look visually complete.
