SGDC — Candeian Digital Geodetic System
SGDC is the project’s geodetic and cadastral layer for identifying and versioning coordinates, units, parcels and geometries in the digital territory. It is not named as a constitutional institution in the proposed Constitution and does not replace the legal property record.

What SGDC describes
Coordinates and spatial system
Provides a consistent reference for locating digital objects and units.
Boundaries and versions
Makes it possible to record spatial form and its evolution without erasing relevant earlier versions.
Units and parcels
Each object may have a persistent identifier independent of its displayed name or 3D visual asset.
Map, planning and registry
Other modules may reference the same ID, but each system retains its own legal competence.
Correct flow between SGDC and the registry
Three layers SGDC must not mix
Geometry
Coordinates, boundaries and spatial relationships in the digital territory.
Registry
Identifiers and metadata describing units and versions.
Right
Ownership and legal effects depend on the competent record and a valid basis.
There is no official SGDC/land-registry application in the current institutional set of Candeia OS. This page describes the required architecture, not an official registry already in operation.
