Legal property register
The legal register answers who holds which right and preserves the chain of title. It must not be confused with the map, rendering or account that displays the information.

The register is the legal layer
The constitutional proposal provides that property rights are proved by the competent registers where the law so determines. Because Candeia is territorially digital, the spatial cadastre and legal register concern units and rights within the system. Real estate and land rights in the physical world remain subject to the registers and authorities of the place where they are located.
Contract, succession, decision, expropriation or another valid title.
The competent authority verifies requirements, limits and conflicts.
The state confirmed by the competent source is updated through the proper procedure.
Certificates, lookups, maps and 3D views then reflect the new state.
What the register cannot do
- create an owner merely to “fill” an empty field;
- erase the previous chain because the interface was redesigned;
- treat possession of a key as absolute proof of ownership;
- replace a judicial decision with an administrative change where the matter requires a judge;
- turn SGDC geometry into a property right without a legal basis.
Anatomy of a property record
Without inventing a concrete registration entry, it is already possible to define which questions a future implementation connected to the competent source must keep separate.
