Candeian nationality is the internal political and legal bond contemplated by the constitutional proposal; citizens are those who acquire it through the constitutional and legal routes. Citizenship, account, identity, residence and technical access remain distinct concepts.

ScopePublic information
In brief
The essentials
Citizenship does not arise from an account and does not disappear because of a technical failure. Once activated, this status derives from the internal rules provided for Candeia; any effect of nationality or citizenship outside the system depends on the legislation and on acts of recognition, acceptance or cooperation that actually apply.
Two stages
Current situation and future stage
A
Before the Foundation
The constitutional proposal operates as a proposed, non-promulgated text. Before the internal Foundation milestone, citizenship is not yet active. An account, CIC, preparatory participation and other project relationships may exist, each with its own status.
D
After the Foundation
When citizenship becomes active in Candeia, its forms of acquisition and protection will begin to produce the internal effects provided for by the Constitution and valid system rules. Effects in relation to third parties will continue to depend on applicable law.
How citizenship is protected
Citizenship is not a user account
Once active, citizenship must survive loss of credentials, interface unavailability and technical change. An account, avatar, device or continuous presence does not replace the person’s bond with Candeia.
PersonThe subject of rights remains the same.
→
StatusCitizenship derives from Candeia’s valid internal rules.
→
AccessCredentials and interfaces can be recovered without recreating the person.
