Candeian Escudo — CE$ / CDE
The Candeian Escudo is the internal monetary unit planned for a future stage of Candeia. Today it does not circulate, cannot be bought or withdrawn and has no external convertibility. At this stage, CE$ and CDE are the symbol and code defined by the project.

The Escudo is the internal currency provided for in the constitutional proposal. Today there is no operational monetary issuance, active CE$ account, guaranteed external conversion or general redemption right.
Issuance, accounts, payments and stability rules will depend on the Central Bank, the rules in force and the corresponding operational infrastructure.
In brief
Candeian Escudo
It is the monetary unit provided for constitutionally.
CE$
The standard public format places CE$ before the amount, with a space: CE$ 1.000.
CDE
It is Candeia’s internal code; it must not be presented as an ISO 4217 code.
Not yet operational
Monetary activation requires an installed Central Bank, governance, controls, real issuance and security.
How it works
The constitutional proposal establishes the name, symbol and internal code.
The CE$ 1.000 = 1 SDR reference — an economic-design reference, not an exchange rate, redemption promise or conversion right — guides value and stability.
The Central Bank must be established and operational.
Circulation, acquisition and any conversion may be described only according to what actually exists.
Limits and what this page does not do
- CDE is not an assigned ISO 4217 code.
- The CE$ 1.000 = 1 SDR reference describes the proposed economic design; it is not an exchange rate, redemption promise, conversion right or automatic guarantee of purchase or sale.
- The existence of the symbol or a demonstration balance does not prove that the monetary system is operational.
- GOV does not issue CE$, open accounts, execute foreign exchange or create balances.
When you see CE$ on the portal, you should be able to distinguish a monetary unit, payment balance, deposit, custody, credit and investment. The interface must never turn one legal category into another merely because of a name or appearance.
