Candeia’s Justice system is provided for in the Constitutional Proposal and has not yet been established. This page explains the architecture and safeguards without presenting courts, judges or proceedings as already existing.
Legal aid may mean understanding where to take a contract dispute, preparing a defence against an internal sanction, obtaining communication support or being represented by the Public Defender’s Office where appropriate.
Three levels of assistance
Explanation of the legal route and competent body, without pretending that GOV provides definitive individual legal advice.
Procedural and communication support so that the person can participate effectively.
Legal representation by a public defender or qualified professional when the situation requires it.
Defence in criminal matters
If Candeia establishes an internal sanctioning proceeding capable of producing significant consequences within the ecosystem, the person must know the allegation, have adequate time and means to prepare a defence, adversarial process, challengeable evidence, legal assistance, an appropriate hearing and an effective appeal. This does not replace real-world criminal proceedings.
When the Public Defender’s Office steps in
The Public Defender’s Office is the constitutional institution designed to represent anyone without sufficient resources or facing a material barrier. The concrete eligibility criteria will still depend on legislation and institutional establishment; GOV does not invent an income table or automatic approval.
Confidentiality and security
A request for assistance may involve defence strategy, protected identity and sensitive information. The public portal must not turn that information into a generic exposed form. The real operational channel must preserve professional secrecy, minimisation and access control.
