In Candeia, your account is used to sign in. Your identity is used to keep important records tied to the same person even if you change your password, device or access method. Root Identity is the proposed technical layer for ensuring that continuity without creating a universal public identifier.

In brief
Your identification in Candeia
The CIC identifies you within Candeia. The constitutional proposal also defines Root Identity: unique for functions that require civil or political uniqueness, with sector-specific technical representations that can be rotated and recovered.
How it works
One person, multiple representations — without creating multiple persons
Human personThe human person is the original holder of rights. An account, digital wallet, avatar, profile or automated agent does not replace legal personality.
→
Root IdentityEnsures legal uniqueness for purposes that genuinely require uniqueness, with confidentiality and protection against unnecessary correlation.
→
RepresentationsSector-specific identifiers, personas and credentials can change, be revoked or be recovered without recreating the person.
Losing access cannot erase your civil existence. An incident may require credentials to be blocked, rotated, reissued or migrated, but the system must preserve the continuity of the same legal identity and offer alternative means when the usual method fails.
Limits
Protections and conditions
It is not a universal public number for every service.
It does not require mandatory biometrics or a single central database.
It does not turn multiple accounts or personas into multiple votes or citizenships.
